Slyp
Slyp enables the ability to send a digital receipt to the customer at the end of the sale.
A receipt can be sent either via SMS/Text Message, or it can be emailed to the customer.
The ability to send a digital receipt has many benefits and advantages such as:
- Saving money on receipt rolls.
- Saving the environment by reducing receipt waste.
- Overcoming the issue of thermal receipts fading over time or when exposed to heat, especially when selling goods that have a warranty period and require the receipt to be legible throughout the warranty period.
- Once available, the ability to view your digital receipt from within your banking app.

To setup and use this integration, you will require the following:
- The Slyp module to be enabled in the Idealpos Licence Gateway.
- An account with Slyp to enable receipts to be sent via the Slyp service.
